Non-vegetarian food is very essential for health. Chicken plays an important role in satisfying all the required nutrients. Chicken is the rich source of protein, calcium, amino acids, Vitamin B-3, Vitamin B-6, magnesium and other important nutrients. Generally, there are two types of chickens which are reared in poultry farming. They are layers and broilers. Layers are only reared for eggs, while broilers are reared for meat.

Broiler chickens are chickens raised specifically for meat. Generally a hybrid of breeds designed to grow rapidly. Broiler chickens are widespread within factory farms around the world. Broiler chickens are among the most farmed animals in the world. Broilers drink more water and eat more frequently than layer chickens. You’ll want to offer fresh, clean water at all times, especially in the summer. Feed should be provided four times a day in most cases. Farmers use a method called selective breeding to produce chickens the shape and size that suit the desires of corporations and the consuming public. About 25,000 chickens live together in each chicken house. It takes a broiler chicken about seven weeks to grow to market weight, and once they’ve reached the right age and size, they’ll all leave together again for processing. The global chicken market size was US$ 196.0 Billion in 2021 and is expected to reach US$ 207.6 Billion in 2027. Over the years, global chicken production has been recording year-on-year hikes across countries like China, Brazil, European Union, Russia, India, Mexico, Thailand, Argentina, Turkey, Columbia, and United States. The major producers are expected to make remarkable gains with the most significant growth in the United States, Brazil, and China.
